Directed by Sharan Koppisetty, the film seems to lack the ‘Kirrak’ factor but is fair enough for a one-time watch, essentially if you’re a student.

Krishna (Nikhil Siddarth) is a happy-go-lucky first-year student in engineering who has no concern in life. He falls in love with his senior Meera (Simran Pareenja) who is a cheerful human being and encourages him to enter into his unseen side. But what happens when an unexpected event brings in a transition in him she could not even predict?

Tamil movie piracy network Movierulz has leaked this movie on the internet for torrent downloads over their piracy websites network for free download. It is being distributed in all languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and in all video formats MKV, MP4, 480p, 720p, and 1080p format downloads.

Kirrak Party (2018) Movie Review

Krishna (Nikhil) is the quintessential tee-shirts and ripped jeans donning, cigarette smoking college kid whose only purpose in life is to fool the college supervisors and spend lots of time with his five best friends. He's a mechanical engineering student in his first year, whose world revolves around his buddies and their fancy red open-top motorcycle.

He soon manages to develop a bond with his senior Meera (Simran Pareenja) who seems to have a crush on everyone at the class. She is a do-good and kind-hearted spirit and wants Krishna to pull out the part of him that no one has ever seen. Yet a part of Krishna shines out when he's driven to the brink that only she couldn't have expected.

Nikhil is good in all colors as Krishna – the young first-year student with naive purity and the beard-sporting, chain-smoking final-year student with rage issues. Simran is perfect enough for her role as a do-goodman, who falls in love with the purity of Krishna.

Samyuktha Hegde takes on the role of Satya, the daughter of the college's principal and a spunky first-year student who is trying to help Krishna get some closure. Compared with Simran, however, the role of Samyuktha seems pale and like a feminine shadow of the person, Krishna once was. It's something that rarely seems obvious whether it's accidental or a calculated creative decision.

The parallels 'Kirrak Band' has to the Nivin Pauly/Naga Chaitanya starrer 'Premam' and even the Sekhar Kammula film 'Happy Days' are hard to ignore, though, given all. Maybe it's the college vibes or the heartbreak that turns the main character into a violent guy, everything about the film already appears to have been finished and dusted.

The producer is attempting to add freshness to the same old conventions by making familiar characters play out with new faces. If it needs to be a traditional college drama or the coming-of-age story of a heartbroken man who has lost his innocence seems to be confounding the script.

The college drama should have made young people happier and the story of the coming-of-age would have been relevant to a more adult audience. The film, however, attempts to appeal to both and somehow falls short.

The big downside of 'Kirrak Party' is its very long duration, lack of a cohesive plot, and the development of some of the film's relationships. What seems to be a crush on Meera turns out to be something more serious for Krishna, even when it seems that he is not even in Satya at all, it turns out he is! Nikhil and his character alone are what works for that film.
