Anand 's character delivers a few laughs through the movie because of his fixation, particularly after the interval in the bathing, open defecation, and kotta avakai scenes. But, the more one comments at him, the more they tend to feel sorry for him.
During a critical point, he suffers from something that makes him nervous and even gets a panic attack, causing his girlfriend to desert him into a heart-breaking scene. His mother, cousin, and colleagues misunderstand him too. Still, except in the end, he bears it all in silence.
Over the course of the film, his affection, masculinity, and integrity are constantly being challenged by those around him, particularly Meghana, and in the end he is compelled to do something about which he is not happy, simply to show his affection for her. Nassar plays Meghana's friend, and he seems to be the only guy in the film who understands the problems facing Anand — even when he comes up with a way to 'heal' Anand that will certainly not succeed in real life.
Remember, this story isn't real life, it's a light-hearted comedy and that's how it 's meant to be. Given the narrator being afflicted by OCD, it is not the director's duty to cope with it in a more compassionate manner to maybe have a response or explanation to his issues. The film is a comedy about an Obsessive guy and how he deals with various circumstances in life, and that's what it's meant to be.
Sharwanand plays the character, Anand, to the T. After a point one forgets that it's just an actor trying out a part. He actually transforms into a guy who suffers from a dilemma that no one appears to understand or understands how to manage. Mehreen is nice enough in the role of a pretty girl whose obsessive conduct seems torn between her desire for him and her anger.
Nassar and Vennela Kishore pursue their roles well enough but they don't have much space to act. The same holds true for debutant Kalyani, who plays the caring mother of Anand. Without a doubt, Sharwanand is the star of this show, so go and watch the movie for him.
